Learning Disabilities

What are Learning Disabilities?
About 3 to 5% of children have academic or behavioral problems resulting from learning disabilities. Boys are affected 3 to 5 times more frequently than girls. The most common learning disabilities are in reading. Learning disabilities also occur in math, spelling, reading comprehension, oral expression and written language. It is common for these children to have problems with attention and memory and to experience behavior problems as a result of frustration.
