Prevalence & Cost Calculator

This site has three tools to help you estimate the impact of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders and related developmental disorders (FASD) in your community.  Combine the data from the Prevalence and Cost Calculator with the data from the Exposure Calculator, then use the Community Based Assessment of services for children and adults with FASD to help you survey and plan for an FAS project in your area.

This site also includes a stand alone application that can be used to calculate FAS cost and prevalence. This prevalence and cost data is estimated from studies of FASD in the state of North Dakota over an 18 year period.   The term Fetal Alcohol Effect (FAE) has been replaced with ARND ( Alcohol Related Neurobehavioral Disorders ).
