FAS Calculator (Self - Extracting Executable)
Downloading and installing the program takes three easy steps.
Step 1 - downloading
To begin the process, simply click the FAS Calculator (Self - Extracting Executable) link. When you click the link Windows will ask you
if you would like to download the file. Click the "save" button on this dialog box. At this point another box will open asking
which directory you would like to save the file to. You may choose a directory or simply click on the "save" button to choose
the default. At this point the file will begin to download.
Step 2 - extracting
When the file has finished downloading, the dialog box will give you three choices. Click on "open"
to begin the installation process now, otherwise hit "close". To begin installation at a later time double click on the InstallFAS
icon in the appropriate folder. At this point another dialog box should appear. Choose an extraction path, such as the "desktop"
if it isn't already chosen. At this point be sure that "extract all" is chosen and then click extract. You may now click exit.
Step 3 - installing
Three files should have been extracted to the chosen path. Double click on the new icon named "Setup". Then simply
follow the instruction provided on the screen. This will install a new folder named Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Calculator into your programs
files folder. It will also add a heading named "Online Clinic" into your start menu.
After completion the program will be installed and ready for use.
To use the application go to your start menu and find the menu heading labeled "Online Clinic".
Simply start the Fetal Alcohol Syndrome calculator as you would any other program.
